I have the honour to transmit for your

information the enclosed copy of three letters which I

have had occasion to address to His Majesty's Minister at

Bangkok concerning cargoes of rice shipped to this port of

alleged enemy origin.

I also enclose copy of a letter addressed

to the Colonial Secretary at Singapore and of his reply

thereto.

I have been threatened with actions for

damages for the losses incurred by the interference with

the "Taiwan Maru's" car goes.
